When you start the car, turn the ignition switch back just a hair. The spring in the switch is probably not completely returning to the run position or its not making good contact when you start the car. Just do it a hair. Put it on defrost or something while doing this so you can tell for sure if it comes back on. Pretty common. Just get used to doing that or replace the ignition switch.
