While fueling my C300 today, imagine my astonishment when I looked over at
the Bio pumps and saw a price of $4.22.3 per gallon. That's eighty cents higher
than premium. Saving the world is getting pretty expensive these days.
It's looking like the bloom may be off the biodiesel rose, perhaps. Local
papers have reported that a multi-million dollar IPO by the grandly named
Imperial Renewables has been "delayed" and they are laying off management. They
had
planned to spend the money building three bio plants in various parts of the
country.
