> Jim, do you have a Lister? If not, what would be your source? Not yet. Blind luck?

That would be awkward. Like I said, it was just an idea. Another idea is just to dial down the RPM to some kinder gentler value and use the generator's rectified output to drive an inverter of some sort. I just thought it would be too cool to use the 400 Hz windings directly for something. (They would be an excellent source for the rectifier that feeds an inverter.) > A more practical thought would be to have a much smaller, teeny tiny, > generator to supply the low night loads and just switch between BB and > TTG. This Lister-MD3 _is_ the TTG, when compared to the current BB! BB is SFH (So-umm-Huge) that I doubt we'd want to afford to run it even in the daytime! -- Jim _______________________________________ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com
