Hi Andrew Interesting to see how much difference minimal color changes make.
I had, in 1970, a red 1965 Mustang. My car had originally been painted white but the dealer was smart and painted it red when it came in on a trade. I ordered paint for a 65 red Mustang which was Rangoon Red. It was not the correct color as my car had been painted 1966 Candy Apple Red. A similar difference to the Mercedes that we commented on. Rangoon Red was more orange and Candy Apple was a darker, richer red. I wish I still had the Mustang.
