You are thinking of JER, John Robbins, @MS State.? He also had a 116 diesel.



The hard drives with the big platters were of various makes, but we had them 
into the 90's.? We also had reel to reel tape drives past Y2K, as we had to 
maintain equipment that could communicate with archaic state computers.? 
Arkansas comes to mind (sorry Clintons, et all).

And here I was thinking you were some 25 year old who recently got out 
of college, and had been working on a PIC controlled W116 climate control
for a class project. Didn't those Winchester drives that look like a
stack of LP's on a changer go out of style in the 1970's?
