Too bad that the letter was put out as it was not what it pretended to be. Interesting that in an interview his commander said that while he had not written that one, it was certainly what he would have said had he written the letter. Somehow the message got a lot less press than did the "messenger". I will concede a strategy win to the folks who made a combat wounded vet look less patriotic that a NG pilot whose commander did have those words to say about him. But I am one of those who was happier with the semi-ban on political comments on this list. BillR
