I found the EXACT same sticker on a....forget what....I think 380SE at the PNP.
Thought it was so cool that I got the console wood to put in my 300SD - exact
same switch configuration.

That sticker can't be factory, can it? But then who put it on? Was
it the company that did the conversion? The car has an EPA sticker
showing that the importer, one Don W. Murphy, went through the right
channels to federalize the car. First one of those I've actually seen
on a gray-market car! My old 280SLC appeared to be an under-the-table
import (no conversion work at all that I could tell).
