Yes, I wouldn't bother if I were just running it but will test both cars-donor and potential donee just to be certain and out of curiosity. . According to shop forum-factory is 425 psi, minimum is 280, and maximum difference between cylinders is 45 psi. I am pretty sure the 78 4 speed has one low cylinder so I am likely to put the 79 engine in it. Thanks, Dwight
