While we are in the yard, I am contemplating getting a hedge trimmer for my daughter to use. Do the electric ones do an adequate job? I hated the cord and had a gas one, till it was liberated some years ago. Not sure she could wield a gas model, and we have a lot of hedges [IMHO, since I can't trim them]. BillR

The electric trimmer is a breeze to use, didn't cost much ($30 maybe) and does the job. It won't cut brush like a good gas trimmer will but is entirely adequate to trim around the house. -Curt Date: Tue, 6 May 2008 09:38:06 -0400 From: "andrew strasfogel" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [MBZ] grass To: "Mercedes Discussion List" <mercedes@okiebenz.com> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 I don't trim because I could never get my gas trimmer to start. But I do love the look of a freshly mowed lawn. I bag the clippings to mulch the veg, garden and never feed the lawn either.
