I've had good luck with my Honda. You should be able to find one at a reasonable cost on eBay. Smooth riding, very reliable, minimal maintenance. And cheap. I've seen 110 mph on mine and backed off the throttle while the speedo was still climbing. Very comfortable at 65 mph. I will be riding it on a 60 mile round trip to a business meeting tomorrow morning, a mix of 55 and 65 speed limits. My Darth Vadar helmet will be strapped securely to my head, and I will be wearing a leather jacket and leather gloves.
I'd not take anything smaller than a 500 cc on the Interstate. If you want to go faster, same era bike but the CB-750. A true giant-killer. http://don.homelinux.net/~don/HondaIndex.html On Sun, May 11, 2008 at 2:58 PM, Robert Rentfro <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Maybe the time has come I should consider getting a bike.
