There are problems with the brakes on the W210, it's very hard to keep them from squealing for some reason.
Ditto for the Volvo 740 -- I have one that sometimes screams, and an aquaintance of mine worked for Nato in the 90's -- the border guards stuck their fingers in their ears every time they drove up, never did find pads that didn't howl. I'll ask my friend Hans, but I remember him saying he'd had a couple that he couldn't quiet down.
