Thanks very much, that is good to know. 

I tried it but when pushing the resulting repository to the Github one,
with hg-git, it causes quite a mess (I forked the repository for testing
purpose).

So I 

    1. Either always delete the git branch on remote with git before
       pushing with hg.

    2. run hg push -b default

    3. run hg push -f
