Just for info, which framework do you use to serve your repos ?
Usually just plain hg serve started as a systemd service, with Apache HTTPD as a reverse proxy and SSH for pushing changesets. I had also one server with Kallithea which is quite good if you need a web GUI for managing your repositories.
