Hello, right now mercurialeclipse crashes with a mysterious error message when Username is not set in the Eclipse-Preferences. (On Windows it is: The System can not find the specified file). IMHO it would be better to not specify a username at all in the call to hg when the one set in eclipse is empty or not set.
If the name is not set explicitely, a rather reasonable procedure is going on: - look in projects .hg/hgrc for username (if you want to have different usernames and mail addresses for different projects this is a must) - look in $HOME/.hgrc or Mercurial.ini - fall back to logged in username Otherwise one has to replace the username in Eclipse Preferences constantly when working on different projects.
