Please have a look at the Eclipse log file. It's located at <workspace>/.metadata/.log. As you don't see MercurialEclipse, you might find Exceptions there, that contain com.vectrace - these are the ones, we want to know about :). Moreover, please make sure, the dependencies are met (copy & paste from the wiki): You need Eclipse >= 3.3 and command line Mercurial installed with the imerge extension (for Mercurial <= 1.0.x). For interfacing with SVN via MercurialEclipse?, you need the HgSubversion extension and its dependencies installed and activated. For using the Forest functionality, you need the Forest extension installed and activated. For using the cryptographic signing feature of Mercurial (hg sign), GnuPG needs to be installed. Don't use gcj as Java runtime as this does not work with MercurialEclipse? due to problems spawning subprocesses in gcj.
