Otherwise I can't think of some checks which could make sure that the user can authenticate himself against his repositories (trying to do a pull to check whether we are allowed to do so without entering a password might lead to bad results... but... we could try to clone the repositories to a temporary location - if this works for all configured push/pull repositories then multi-push gets enabled...)
