Hi Zingo, thanks for the debugging instructions. As there was some delay until my posting was approved, I had done further research, and I found a hint in the comments to Bastian Doetsch's release notes for MercurialEclipse 1.3.1019:
http://doetsch.info/2009/02/14/mercurialeclipse-131019-released/ Another guy had also problems displaying the history, and invoking "eclipse -clean" fixed the problem for him. This also fixed the problem for me, history is working now. Maybe this is something for the MercurialEclipse FAQ.
