Hi guys, I have a huge performance problem when importing a rather large repository (in project count) into Eclipse. Specifically the repository consists of ~120 Eclipse projects with a total of ~10.000 files and 1.7GB in storage. Cloning the repository into Eclipse with the MercurialEclipse plugin works like a charm, but after cloning and everything i Synchronize with the repository Eclipse and the plugin just go crazy and all the projects are refreshed to determine the HG status. One sync takes ~5-10 minutes in Eclipse while on the command line it's done in about a second. I already played with the Performance Settings in the Team Preferences for the MercurialEclipse plugin but they didn't seem to change anything.
I tried this on Windows and on a Mac and general performance of the systems seems to be of no significance. Does anybody have an idea why this could be or is this a general problem of the MercurialEclipse plugin?
