Thanks for your quick reply!

So if I have mercurial_keyring installed and listed as extension in .hgrc, 
MercurialEclipes will automatically use it? Or do I need to tell 
MercurialEclipse explicitly to use mercurial_keyring?

If not, where is the password actually stored?
