For the teams that like to see the changeset information I just suggest turning on the "show changeset information for files (slow)" setting. They don't see any performance problems as far as I know. It was classified slow before we switched to JavaHg to get the Mercurial data so I think it's pretty fast now. If you prefer not to see the changeset information on all file or see a performance problem can you file a bug here https://bitbucket.org/mercurialeclipse/main .
