Hi,
I have released version 2.7.2 yesterday evening, Paris/Berlin time,
probably after you sent your message. The update may provide the solution
to the problem you are facing.
However, since your exact issue is not clear ("Push fails on remote" may
have several causes), the actual root cause may be elsewhere, in which case
I invite you to downgrade to 2.7.0 or 2.6.1 and to report an issue on the
issue tracker.
