Hi Everybody, i have been learning QTP for quite some time....
I have a query on the exist property. In one of the functions in vbs file i used a statement like if Browser(xxx).page(xxxx).exist(0) then .... ..... end if I kept a "start transaction" before the execution of this "exist" statement and after it. Even though i have given 0 seconds to wait, i could find the "transaction time" to be around 20 seconds totally. This 20 seconds is the value that i have given in the File-Settings- Run(tab) for sync. Could you please help me on how to reduce the waiting time. This piece of code is to close the browser if it exists. Every time the script is holding for 20 seconds to identify the window. The window may or may not appear. But the when the window appears it recognizes it within seconds and closes it immediately.When it is not present it is waiting for 20 seconds. I want to reduce the wait time only here. Can sombody let me how to achieve this? Is there any setting to make this happen. I need to bring the waiting time only at this place and not in all places. hope my question is understood.
