After you create a Virtual object(VO), Try recording that object. When you record this object the objects gets added to your object repository. If you are using a shared object repository then this you need not worry. However if you are using local object repositories(OR) then you need to manually add this object from the previous local OR. Alternatively you need to record this once more to get the VO in to the OR of the new testcase.
