When you execute your scripts and while running you get some unexpected events/errors. To recover from the "unexpected" errors you use Recovery Scenarios wizard in qtp. It has further 3 steps to handle an exceptions 1. Triggered Events 2. Recovery steps 3. Post Recovery Test-Run Cases could be any, <http://www.geekinterview.com/question_details/15779#>1. Pop up event. 2. Object state. 3. Test Run error. 4. Application crashes *You can follow the Mercury QTP User's Guide for more info* Regards - Gp On Mon, Aug 24, 2009 at 11:07 AM, kapil sachdeva <[email protected]>wrote: > hi friends, > > could you please answer the following: > > what is the difference between error handling in QTP and recovery scenario. > when do we use error handling and in which case - recovery scenario. > > > Thanks > Kapil > > > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google "QTP - HP Quick Test Professional - Automated Software Testing" group.
