hello, i am using QTP 9.0. in my test i was using both a global datatable and a local one. now, i need to make use of an external .XLS file (in Quality Center) for the test's primary datatable; this external .XLS is one used by many tests. no problem.
but id also like to keep my *local* datatable in tact -- since i use certain parameters not shared by other tests. this is presenting a problem -- it seems that when you go to File -> Settings -> Resources and use the "Other location" radio button for the datatable location, that it no longer allows the test to have its own datatable sheet. it seems i must instead add it to the master .XLS. have i go this right? i am on 9.0. thanks, sm -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google "QTP - HP Quick Test Professional - Automated Software Testing" group.
