Adding to your discussion

*System Testing:* objective of this testing is to cover entire application
testing , which includes functional testing and based on status of
application multiple regression test cycles will fall.

*End to End testing:* This pertaining to testing one complete requirement
which has starting input and ending output.

For ex: buying the product on ecommerce portal
1) Login ecommerce portal->selecting product->entering into billing
portal->entering credit card details->entering shipping
details->confirmation.
2) Bank Transaction
Login portal->registering transfer->confirmation register->Money
transfer->card details->confirmation

Above two simple examples for end to end transaction. In this case we are
performing functional testing only.
