I am having all kinds of trouble trying to get QTP to recognize a second page that opens from a link in the main page. I can record it fine and it records all the objects. When I try to play it back it fails to recognize the object with the following error: "Cannot identify the object "ddlInterfaceId" (of class WebList). Verify that this object's properties match an object currently displayed in your application." I tried using descriptive programming to recognize the new page, neither method works. When I record I get a different Browser name than when I spy on an object in the new window. This pretty much happens on any pop up page. I don't have any problems with pop up dialogs though. Any recommendations?
