Hi chaman , Which version of qtp are you using.. Go for QTP11,allows you to record directly on Firefox .
if you are using QTP10,then you can record on IE and playback on FireFox. But Firefox version should be compatible with QTP10.. I think FF3.5 works well.. if you reinstall your browser then you have to reinstall QTP also.
