I always wondering about those questions related TE automation, there are so many types of them, some of them completelly not automatable, other can be automated with no real problem. I didn't work with TE add-in, but the bottom line, if we can read text from the TE screen, and the application has clear navigation rules, it can be automated. But again, I believe, there are plenty completely different TE types, from what I dealt.
