Hello All, Just going through a book from prestigious QTP practitioner Tarun Lalwani.
The very first pages of that book talks about "Relevant", "Significantly Evaluated" "answers to QTP related questions in a justified manner". The reason i am saying this because a number of questions in this forum are answered like they are asked to get answer from anyone. Guys, if we keep on doing so i mean posting irrelevant answers, not to the point answers or answers which are just not the reasonable, we will make this forum just like other 'dead' forums on the www. Don't take me wrong but if you just look at a question asked by someone "how to write a calendar program in VbScript", i apologize but someone answered with a Date function as a reply to this. Is that a reasonable one? We are testers, QTP Practitioners. My message to newbies in the forum is that just don't answer because it is asked on the forum. Get to the soul of the question, evaluate your answer (Documentation, Executed Code with Snapshots), not just a string of arbitrary words. Please give a thought to it and please share your views. Let’s make it a quality forum. so that other can be given references. I appreciate your patience in reading this.
