there are more jobs for java, .net in market but also these technology has 
different paths. 

QTP has its own market and i think it is ok.. however you can not just 
focus on one tool but you have to look as big picture as QA. You can be 
good manual, bakend, performance and automation tester.Basically you need 
to have all four skills and learn different tools (good skills) to beat 
above technologies. 

Normally in companies you have 3 (dev) to 1 tester ratio. but you are not 
limiting your self  to one technology but you can be master of all four 
testing practices. 

If you are planning to go in  automation testing  as a career, I would 
advise you to go in coding first (if possible) so if you have good coding 
skills you can choose to go anywhere later on.. but after becoming 
automation tester you can explore your coding skills..
