Kiren is correct that QTP is only supported on Windows machine ..

However, if you are accessing your UNIX file system via terminal emulator 
which communicates between Window and Unix (for example Putty) than you can 
perform all tasks. 
In this form, this is extensively discuss. 

look for basic Unix commands 
go to basic file system objects in vbscripts 
Putty (if you are using if or any other) and cmd automation. 
Perform  task manually first and then what ever SCP or PSCP command you 
use, insert that in scripts.. 
Ask developers or google the basic cmd and unix command and file transfer 
commands .
