Not sure my previous reply went through so forgive me if i posted it twice :) There are more are more than one consideration when selecting a mobile testing solution like how many platforms you need? supporting emulators + REAL devices? ho strong is the automation capabilities? are they device-agnostic? access to a large variety of devices? security requirements? and of course - WHICH SOFTWARE TESTING TOOLS ARE YOU ALREADY USING? in this case - QTP.
There are some good solutions mentioned in the thread (Soasta, DA), and well, as you know, every competitor says he is the best... however ONLY Perfecto can say this: 1) Perfecto is the only solution JOINTLY developed with HP Software R&D hand in hand - team, code, roadmap...for the past 2 years ==> we are talking another level of integration here, 100% inside QTP with all the robust benefits of the perfecto MobileCloud seamlessly integrated inside 2) Hp had officially announced Perfecto Mobile as its selected technology and preferred partner for mobility testing - not anyone else ... *just ask HP :)* [image: *] http://siliconangle.com/blog/2012/03/20/hp-software-upgrades-developer-platform-and-tools-mobile-angle-is-perfecto/ [image: *] http://www.zdnet.com/blog/gardner/new-hp-application-transformation-offerings-help-enterprises-tackle-growing-use-of-mobile-computing-and-social-media/4558 http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/newsroom/press/2012/120320a.html Bottom line - Soasta and DA are valid choices, so is Selenium but if you work with HP Software (QTP) - IT's A NO BRAINER... (Perfecto) pls find some webinars you might like here - http://www.perfectomobile.com/portal/cms/resources/webinars.html GOOD LUCK!
