Do you have .Net puging ? if you do than you can record the script as manual testing steps.
If you are new and want some experience than please go through 6 tutorials provided by HP and then you will learn basic concepts. .Net is not that easy to record and play back, and you need to updates scripts based on need. But it is not rocket science and let us know what issue you face and there are so many experts in this form will help you out. QTP help file also provides lots of references for .Net objects (WPF..); you can refer that also for your project.. Good Luck ...
