In my opinion there is no need to use OR except the time is limited and there are non-QTP experts in the team.
So why waste time usong OR and shareing repositories, I do not udnerstand this. While using function libraries, anyone can use a common function ar common action without worrying any objects But while using OR, for every function or action, the testers will need the repository files (if they are using some shared repository), or he or she will have to record some object into his local repository.
