Hello All,
I am new in QTP. I was executing below code and got the result "browser not
exist".
systemutil.Run "iexplore.exe","google.com"
Set myb=browser("name:=*")
If myb.Exist(2) Then
print "browser exist"
else
print "browser not exist"
End If
But if I put a value for eg. "Google" for name property then got the result
"browser exist".
systemutil.Run "iexplore.exe","google.com"
Set myb=browser("name:=Google")
If myb.Exist(2) Then
print "browser exist"
else
print "browser not exist"
End If
I couldn't understand the reason behind this. Why i didn't get result
"browser exist" when i was using '*' for name property value.
Could anyone let me know the reason behind this??
