Hi, The following are my suggestions for you to design automation fw 1.Use both Obj repository and Descriptive programming based on your need, good practice to use both 2.Design automation Frame work based on your need 3.Analyse scenarios and create function library based on that 4.As manual test cases and automation scenarios are different don't try to converty exact manual test case into your automation script
These are general guide lines , but it takes time to impliment Thank you, Sandeep On Thu, Apr 11, 2013 at 10:56 AM, pankaj d <[email protected]> wrote: > I am very confusing while automating my application > > I have small web application which I want to automate using QTP n VB > Script. > I have 15-20 test cases which I want to automate but I don't understand > how to automate them > I have following queries > How to automate that test cases means whether should I create only > one(single) test n create different > > functions/ Actions for different test cases > OR > Create separate test for each test cases > OR > Create class n functions within it and access them from test > OR > While writing script which option should use either OR or DP > > > -- > > > --- > Regards, > *PANKAJ * > > -- > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google > "QTP - HP Quick Test Professional - Automated Software Testing" > group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected] > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected] > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/MercuryQTP?hl=en > > --- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "QTP - HP Quick Test Professional - Automated Software Testing" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to [email protected]. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/groups/opt_out. > > > -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google "QTP - HP Quick Test Professional - Automated Software Testing" group.
