Developing of the automation framework is based on the Proof Of Concept (POC) performed. In that we check what kind of business behind the application getting used. Example: Does the application require only data input, then Data Driven Framework. If application has more business scenarios, DB interaction, require extensive report and within less time automation scripts can be created; then we can go for Hybrid framework. If the automation framework users are manual testers or BA, keeping in mind we can define generic keywords to design scripts; here we can use Keyword Driven framework.
