I was just thinking that a 'saved view' assignment to a certain key would be useful (probably the numbers). It would store visible/hidden docks, zoom level and visible layers. This could also fix the problem of coming back from fullscreen, which shows all docks again (I don't own a GPS so that dock is just annoying to me, making the window taller than my screen).
