Hello fellow merkaartorists,
I'd like to prepare a visual changelog for the (hopefully soon to be
released) merkaartor 0.12.
I don't use quite a few of the shiny new features at all during my own
mapping, so this is a request for screenshots of your merkaartor window
doing anything that wasn't possible in 0.11:
Those are the added features (from the changelog) that look like they
could be explained with a screenshot.
ADD : let the use choose between translating standard OSM tags
ADD : ability to set language explicitly
ADD : nice satellite strength view widget
ADD : Support for GeoTagged images. qmake GEOIMAGE=1 to activate.

ADD : "visible" action in layers menu
ADD : scalable POI icons in styles
ADD : tab filtering and color code to Layer dock
ADD : preference option for focus/hover/relations colors
ADD : Info dock for layers
ADD : "Duplicate", "Apply", "Up", "Down" functionality to the style editor
ADD : names rendering in styles
ADD : layer menu in menubar
ADD : display viewport coordinates in status bar
ADD : support (initial) of GPS devices / NMEA log replay
ADD : Render to bitmap via native engine.
ADD : Render to SVG via Osmarender (requires libxml2/libxslt; inkscape
required to generate bitmap). Closes #694
The most impressive features (IMO) are the live-gps support and the
support for geotagged images.
Oh - and while I'm begging for stuff: Please should if you have an idea (or
even a png) of
a new header-image for http://www.merkaartor.org - ideally we'd find someone
capable of
creating a cool merkaartor-logo.
