On another matter, while preparing the package, I noticed that there isn't a freedesktop file for the inclusion in the menu. I've prepared a desktop file for the Pardus package, it could be good to include such a file in the official tarball : http://svn.pardus.org.tr/contrib/devel/applications/science/merkaartor/files/merkaartor.desktop http://svn.pardus.org.tr/contrib/devel/applications/science/merkaartor/files/merkaartor.png Since I couldn't find any logo in the web site, I've used OSM's logo as the icon for the menu entry.
