It's time again, the OpenStreetMap server has its daily outage. Just in
the moment when I was uploading map changes. The progress bar wasn't
moving for a long time, and I couldn't connect to openstreetmap.org in
my browser, so I pushed the Cancel button to retry sometime later.

At first, everything looked good. The progress window disappeared. But
after a few minutes, it made a sound from the background, saying that
the server has responded with "500 Internal server error". (True, my
browser says that, too, now.) When I confirmed the message box, one more
of them showed up for every upload action that was still in the queue.
Didn't I cancel the upload?

Now, the dirty layer seems to contain my changes still, and the Undo
dock says that the dirty layer contains 4 objects. But the actual undo
list below that info now only contains a single entry. Is that a
problem? Anyway, what's the relation between uploading changes, the
dirty layer and the undo list? Why is the list empty after a (partially)
successful upload and what happens when the upload fails?
