Hi,
I'm a big fan of Merkaartor but still there are a few annoyances when using
relations. So I got the source, got it running in QT windows and are about to
see if I can make a change myself.
First of all what I want to change:
In the Netherlands is a network for walking (openwandelkaart.nl) with numbered
points. Each route between two individual points has to be a relation so I have
to add a lot of relations. For each relation I have to add the same 3 tags
(type=route,route=walking,network=rwn).
(A) I want to redefine the properties relation dock to match relations as
defined in openstreetmap. In other words, a pull down menu with type (route,
boundary, multipolygon,...) For route another pulldown (bus,walking,bicycle,...)
(B) Add a toolbar with several quick buttons that I can customize. E.g. a
button that creates a relation from the selected members and adds the related
tags for the regional walking network. But also combine a track road
automatically with the tracktype tag.
My questions:
(1) What do you think of it?
(2) Who can explain the meaning of the current properties relation dock?
(2a) The first pull down "Generic Relations". Are the other options also
relations since the dock still says relations if I change it.
(2b) What has landuse to do with a relation?
