Hi all,

I'm looking into creating hiking maps with Merkaartor and publishing
those on a website using the OpenLayers javascript API with OSM tiles.

I managed to load the .osm files containing the hiking trip information
plus points of interests into OpenLayers, but I would also like to
create custom styles in Merkaartor, and use those same styles in the
website for my POIs, and possibly for road segments too.

To do this, if I understand correctly, I must create a style file in a
format that OpenLayers will grok, which AFAICT is only SDL. Is there a
way to import/export SDL style files from Merkaartor, or is there a way
to read in .mas style files in OpenLayers?

Failing that, is there a reference guide or specification for the
.mas file format that I could use to write my own .mas loading Format
class for OpenLayers?

Regards,
Peter Bex
