Not that I know. Did you try to right-click on the Geotiff layer and
zoom, to go to the actual geotiff localization?
Otherwise, please send me (personally) the geotiff so that I can have a

When I right-click on the Geotiff layer, there is no "Zoom" available.
May be I have not understood what you mean.
Anyway, I send you a sample Tiff via PM.
