I added the filter over Tools - Filters Editor and 'Reset layers to default'. Then I went your way - in result the same- but the nodes are still visible. In another thread I read something about NVIDIA. Therefore I deinstalled the proprietary nvidia driver. The nodes disappeared. Afterwards I reinstalled the nvidia driver and now the nodes disappear too. Don't know why.
