Regarding the man who used 100's of computers to do research on "special" primes. Did anything useful come out of the work? Do we know it was GIMPS? Does it really matter? The 2 A-bombs that were dropped on Japan we horrible. But should we have thrown away all the research in it and not have any nuclear power for space powered flight? I don't think so. Just say "it was bad, don't do it or you'll et in trouble.. but at the same time USE the data obtained. My 2 cents. JLC
