I wonder if it shouldn't do some sort of double each time like ethernet
does... First failure, might be a transient thing, so try again in a minute.
2nd failure, 2 minutes, then 4, 8, 15, 30, 60 minutes, 120 minutes.   I
suspect 120 minutes is plenty long as a max retry interval.
