It is grabbing another value so it will have one when it needs it. I forget
what the default is, something like 30 days, but when you close in on the 'get
enough work for ___ days' value, it grabs the next available candidate.

yup.
oh, and don't be surprised if it pauses on the LL test and factors the new
candidate, that usually takes less than 24 hours, whereupon it will resume the
original LL test (unless it finds a factor for the new candidate, whereupon it
will grab yet another and try again).
