You're behind. The fastest unclassified machine at the moemnt is Pacific
Blue, at 3.9 TFLOPS, and 2.6 terabytes of memory. It has 5856 processors,
based on IBM RS/6000 technology, weights about 50 tons, needs about three
tennis-fields worth of floor-space, and costs around a measly $100
millions. IBM has apparently thought about the Internet paraller-tasks
already, because they threw out a figure that 15.000 "normal" desktops
would be needed for the same power. It's used for modeling nuclear
processes, "to maintain USA's nuclear stockpiles without the need of
further nuclear tests".
